How To Make Granola Bars

The perfect breakfast recipe for your kids especially on busy days when you don't have enough time to prepare them a meal.

  • cups Bisquick baking mix
  • cups quick cooking oats
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup margarine , or butter
  • 1 egg
  • ½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • raisins , or chopped nuts


  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees F.

  2. Mix all ingredients together except chocolate chips until moistened.

  3. Stir in chocolate chips.

  4. Press mixture evenly in an ungreased 9x13-inch pan.

  5. Bake until the center is set for about 15 to 17 minutes.
