How To Make Crunchy Granola with Berries & Cherries

Not only is it healthy, granola is the perfect breakfast food when you want a recipe that’s easy and simple to whip up. Pair your granola with yogurt or snack on them like you would regular cereals to give yourself the breakfast of champions.

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup almonds, chopped
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil, melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup dried cherries
  • 1/2 cup dried blueberries
  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C).

  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, chopped almonds, honey, melted coconut oil, vanilla extract, and cinnamon. Mix well until all the oats are coated.

  3. Spread the mixture evenly onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the granola is golden brown and crispy. Stir the granola halfway through to promote even browning.

  5. Remove the granola from the oven and let it cool completely. It will continue to crisp up as it cools.

  6. Once cooled, add the dried cherries, blueberries, and cranberries to the granola. Mix well to combine.

  7. Store the crunchy granola with berries and cherries in an airtight container for up to two weeks.
