
How To Make Chai-Spiced Granola
This naturally sweetened granola recipe works amazingly on oatmeal or eaten on its own! It’s spiced with a chai spice mix for extra flavor.

Ingredients
For Chai Spiced Granola:
- ½cuphoney,or agave, warmed
- 2tbspcoconut oil,melted and hot
- ½tspvanilla extract
- ½tspalmond extract
- 4cupsold-fashioned oats,or gluten-free oats
- 2cupsnuts,like half almonds, half pecans
- 1cupcoconut,shredded
For Chai Spice Mix:
- 2tspground cinnamon
- 1tspground cardamom
- 1tspground ginger
- ¼tspallspice
- ¼tspblack pepper
- ¼tspground cloves
- ¼tspsalt
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 300 degrees F.

Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil.

In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the warmed honey, coconut oil, vanilla and almond extracts until combined. Set aside.

In a large mixing bowl, toss together oats, nuts, coconut, ground cinnamon, cardamom, ginger, allspice, black pepper, ground cloves, and salt until evenly combined.

Add in the honey mixture, then toss until the dry ingredients are evenly coated.

Spread the mixture out on the prepared baking sheet in an even layer.

Bake for 20 minutes, removing the sheet from the oven at the halfway point to give the granola a good stir.

Return the sheet to the oven and bake for an additional 5 to 10Â minutes, or until the nuts are toasted.

Remove sheet from oven, then allow to cool on a wire rack.
