How To Make Brie Bruschetta with Tomato, Herbs & Serrano Ham

Ingredients

  • 1 French baguette, sliced
  • 8 ounces of Brie cheese
  • 2 ripe tomatoes, diced
  • 2 tablespoons of fresh basil, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons of fresh parsley, chopped
  • 4 slices of Serrano ham
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. Place the baguette slices on a baking sheet and toast them in the oven for about 5 minutes, or until golden brown.

  3. Meanwhile, slice the Brie cheese into thin pieces.

  4. Remove the toasted baguette slices from the oven and layer each slice with a piece of Brie cheese.

  5. Return the baking sheet to the oven and bake for another 3-5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbling.

  6. In a bowl, combine the diced tomatoes, chopped basil, chopped parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

  7. Remove the baking sheet from the oven and top each Brie-topped baguette slice with a spoonful of the tomato mixture.

  8. Place a slice of Serrano ham on top of each bruschetta.

  9. Serve immediately and enjoy!
