
How To Make Wild Rice, Chestnut & Squash Stuffing
Stuffing is a great add-on to your main dishes. More than just something to fill the turkey with during Thanksgiving, stuffing is a wonderful side dish to complement your dish of choice. There’s no stopping you in enjoying this stuffing recipe!

Ingredients
- 1 cup wild rice
- 1 butternut squash, peeled and diced
- 1 cup roasted chestnuts, roughly chopped
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried sage
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cups vegetable broth
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a large pot, cook the wild rice according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and minced garlic, and sauté until softened.

Add the diced butternut squash to the skillet and cook until slightly tender, about 5-7 minutes.

Stir in the cooked wild rice, chopped chestnuts, dried thyme, dried sage, salt, pepper, and vegetable broth. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.

Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and cover with foil.

Bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes.

Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
