How To Make Goose and Chestnut Stuffing

A savory stuffing with goose and chestnuts, perfect for a holiday feast.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of cooked and crumbled goose meat
  • 1 cup of peeled and chopped roasted chestnuts
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp of butter
  • 2 cups of bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup of chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tsp of dried sage
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 cup of chicken or turkey broth

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375F.

  2. In a pan, sauté onion and garlic in butter until onions are translucent.

  3. In a bowl, mix cooked goose meat, roasted chestnuts, sautéed onions and garlic, bread crumbs, parsley, sage, salt and pepper.

  4. Gradually add chicken or turkey broth until stuffing is moist.

  5. Spoon stuffing into a greased baking dish and bake for 45 minutes, or until golden brown.
