How To Make Apricot & Pistachio Stuffing

Stuffing is a great add-on to your main dishes. More than just something to fill the turkey with during Thanksgiving, stuffing is a wonderful side dish to complement your dish of choice. There’s no stopping you in enjoying this stuffing recipe!

Ingredients

  • 4 cups bread cubes
  • 1/2 cup dried apricots, chopped
  • 1/2 cup pistachios, chopped
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup onion, diced
  • 1/2 cup celery, diced
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. In a large bowl, combine bread cubes, dried apricots, and pistachios.

  3. In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add diced onion and celery, cooking until softened, about 5 minutes.

  4. Pour melted butter, onion, and celery mixture over bread cube mixture.

  5. Add chicken broth, dried thyme, salt, and pepper. Stir until well combined.

  6. Transfer mixture to a greased baking dish.

  7. Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes.

  8. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until top is golden brown.

  9. Serve hot and enjoy!
