How To Make Cheat’s Sausage Larb
Serves:
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground sausage
- 2 tbsp fish sauce
- 2 tbsp lime juice
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 small red onion, thinly sliced
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1/4 cup fresh mint, chopped
- 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
- 1/4 cup chopped peanuts
- Lettuce leaves, for serving
Instructions

In a large skillet, cook the ground sausage over medium heat until browned and cooked through.

In a small bowl, whisk together the fish sauce, lime juice, soy sauce, and brown sugar. Set aside.

Once the sausage is cooked, remove from heat and drain any excess grease.

Return the skillet to medium heat and add the minced garlic, red onion, and green onions. Cook for 2-3 minutes until softened.

Add the cooked sausage back to the skillet and pour in the sauce mixture. Stir to coat the sausage evenly.

Remove from heat and stir in the fresh cilantro, mint, and basil.

Serve the sausage larb in lettuce leaves and garnish with chopped peanuts.
