  • 2 pounds of potatoes, peeled and quartered
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • ½ cup of milk or cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. Place the garlic cloves on a baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil. Roast in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until soft and golden.

  3. Meanwhile, place the peeled and quartered potatoes in a large pot and cover with water. Bring to a boil and simmer until the potatoes are fork-tender, about 15-20 minutes.
