How To Make Harissa Marinated Shrimp Recipe

Juicy shrimps marinated in spicy harissa sauce with a blend of Mediterranean seasonings

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 1lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp harissa paste
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Coriander leaves, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine harissa paste, lemon juice, minced garlic, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper and olive oil.

  2. Add shrimp to the marinade and toss to coat well.

  3. Cover the bowl with cling wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

  4. Preheat grilling pan or skillet over high heat.

  5. Remove shrimp from marinade and discard the excess sauce.

  6. Grill or sauté shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side, until cooked through.

  7. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve immediately with lemon wedges.
