How To Make Harissa Grilled Tofu Recipe

Spicy grilled tofu marinated in harissa with a crispy outside and a tender inside.

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 1 block of firm tofu, pressed and sliced into 1/4 inch thick pieces
  • 2 tablespoons of harissa paste
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of maple syrup
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill or grill pan.

  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together harissa paste, olive oil, soy sauce, maple syrup, salt and pepper.

  3. Add tofu slices to the bowl and toss to coat evenly.

  4. Place tofu slices on grill and grill for about 5-6 minutes on each side until crispy and grill marks form.

  5. Serve hot and enjoy!
