How To Make Harissa and Chickpea Stew Recipe
A spicy and hearty stew that combines chickpeas with flavorful harissa paste.

Ingredients
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp harissa paste
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 2 cans chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- 2 cups vegetable broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh cilantro, chopped (optional)
Instructions

Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium-high heat.

Add onion and garlic and sauté until softened, about 5 minutes.

Stir in the harissa paste and cook for 1 minute.

Add the diced tomatoes, chickpeas, and vegetable broth.

Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 20-25 minutes, until the stew has thickened.
