  • 4 medium potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.

  2. Layer the sliced potatoes in a greased 8-inch baking dish.

  3. In a separate bowl, mix together the cheddar cheese, Parmesan cheese, cream, melted butter, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

  4. Pour the cheese mixture over the potatoes, covering them evenly.

  5. Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 45 minutes.

  6. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until the potatoes are tender and the top is golden brown.

  7. Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before serving.
