How To Make Sticky Maple-Glazed Ham with Baked Apple Sauce

Ingredients
- 1.5 kg boneless ham
- 1 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 4 medium-sized baking apples
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 160°C (320°F).

Place the ham in a roasting pan and score the surface diagonally.

In a small bowl, mix together maple syrup, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, and apple cider vinegar.

Pour the glaze mixture over the ham, making sure it covers the entire surface.

Bake the ham for approximately 2 hours, basting with the glaze every 30 minutes.

While the ham is cooking, prepare the baked apple sauce. Peel and core the apples, then cut them into small chunks.

In a baking dish, combine the apple chunks, lemon juice, water, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.

Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake it in the oven for about 45 minutes, or until the apples are soft.

Once the ham is cooked, remove it from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.

Serve the sticky maple-glazed ham with the warm baked apple sauce.
