Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup apple cider
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp ginger
  • 1/4 tsp cloves
  • 1 spiral-cut ham (about 8-10 lbs)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F.

  2. In a small saucepan, combine apple cider, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, honey, and apple cider vinegar.

  3. Add cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and cloves. Stir until well combined.

  4. Bring to a boil over medium heat, then reduce heat and simmer for 10-15 minutes until thickened.

  5. Place ham in a large roasting pan. Pour glaze over ham, reserving about 1/2 cup for later.

  6. Cover tightly with foil and bake for 1 1/2 to 2 hours, basting occasionally with glaze in the pan.

  7. Remove foil and continue baking for an additional 30 minutes or until heated through and caramelized.

  8. Serve ham with reserved glaze on the side.
