How To Make Green Pea and Corn Fritters

Crispy fritters packed with the goodness of green peas and corn – perfect for a quick snack or side dish.

  • 1 cup green peas
  • 1 cup corn kernels
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • Oil, for frying


  1. In a mixing bowl, combine green peas and corn.

  2. Add flour, baking powder, cumin powder, paprika, and salt. Mix well.

  3. Beat the egg and add it to the mixture. Mix again.

  4. Gradually add milk to form a thick batter.

  5. Heat oil in a pan.

  6. Drop spoonfuls of the batter into the hot oil and fry until golden brown on both sides.

  7. Remove and drain on paper towels.

  8. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
