How To Make Green Pea Soup Recipe

A smooth and creamy soup made with fresh green peas and a hint of mint.

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh green peas
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 3 cups vegetable or chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves, chopped
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.

  2. Add the onion and garlic and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

  3. Add the green peas and cook for another 2 minutes.

  4. Pour in the broth and bring to a boil.

  5. Reduce heat and simmer for 10-12 minutes.

  6. Stir in mint leaves and remove from heat.

  7. Use an immersion blender or transfer to a blender and blend until smooth.

  8. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  9. Serve hot and enjoy!
