How To Make Green Pea Soup Recipe
A smooth and creamy soup made with fresh green peas and a hint of mint.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 2 cups fresh green peas
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 3 cups vegetable or chicken broth
- 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves, chopped
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions

Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.

Add the onion and garlic and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

Add the green peas and cook for another 2 minutes.

Pour in the broth and bring to a boil.

Reduce heat and simmer for 10-12 minutes.

Stir in mint leaves and remove from heat.

Use an immersion blender or transfer to a blender and blend until smooth.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.
