How To Make Pear and Pomegranate Tacos (Christmas Tacos)

Have a Mexican-inspired Christmas treat with these pear and pomegranate tacos. Slices of chicken topped with fruity salsa are then served in tortillas.

Ingredients

  • 10pcsflour tortillas
  • 2largechicken breasts,cooked, thinly sliced or shredded
  • ¼cupcheese,cotija, crumbled
  • lime wedges,or cilantro, optional garnishes

For Salsa:

  • 2fresh pears,cored and diced
  • 1pomegranate,seeded
  • ½red onion
  • ½cupcilantro,fresh, chopped
  • ½lime,juiced

Instructions

  1. Lay one tortilla out on a serving plate. Place a few slices of chicken in a line down the center of the tortilla. Then add a few spoonfuls of salsa and a sprinkle of cotija cheese on top of the chicken. Serve immediately.

Salsa:

  1. Toss all ingredients together until combined. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
