
How To Make Cheesy Oven Baked Tacos
Cook up some savory baked tacos for your next dinner party! They’re loaded with filling beef, spicy tomatoes, and more for a heartier meal.

Ingredients
- 1lbground lean beef
- taco seasoning,1 package
- 1onion
- 10oztomatoes with chilis,canned, such as rotel
- 14taco shells,crisp
- 2½cupscheddar cheese,or Monterey jack cheese, divided
For Toppings:
- lettuce
- tomatoes
- sour cream
- salsa
Instructions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

Cook the ground beef and onion on a pan, until no pink remains. Drain the fat.

Add in the taco seasoning, undrained tomatoes and ¼ cup of water.

Cook for 5 minutes until no liquid remains.

Place the taco shells in a 9 x 13-inch pan. Use small balls of foil between every second shell to help them stand up, if needed.

Divide 1½ cups of cheese between the shells.

Top with the meat mixture divided between shells, then finally top with the remaining cheese.

Bake for 15 to 18 minutes or until the cheese melts.

Top with lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream, and salsa.
