How To Make Easy Microwave Steamed Salmon

This steamed salmon recipe flavored with mushroom and Japanese sake is certainly a lovely way to change the usual dinner meals up a bit.

Total: 30 minutes

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 1pcsalmon
  • ¼onion
  • ¼carrot
  • ¼mushroom,pack shimeji
  • 2tbspsake,or white wine
  • 1tbspbutter
  • salt,to taste
  • pepper,to taste
  • soy sauce,to taste

Instructions

  1. Cut a piece of parchment paper in the shape of a square. Slice the onion thinly. Julienne the carrot.

  2. Cut the bottom of shimeji mushroom and tear into bite-sized pieces.

  3. Place the salmon at the center of the parchment paper.

  4. Season with salt and pepper.

  5. Place onion, carrot and shimeji in that order.

  6. Sprinkle sake and put the butter on top.

  7. Bring up the top and the bottom corner of the paper.

  8. Fold the top corner for 3 to 4 times. Twist the ends.

  9. Place the salmon packet on a microwave safe plate and microwave for 4 minutes, or cook in 350 degrees F oven for 20 min.

  10. Open the parchment paper carefully and drizzle soy sauce on top.
