How To Make Country-Style Steak Recipe

  • 4 beef steaks (about 1 inch thick)
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste


  1. Preheat grill or skillet over medium-high heat.

  2. In a small bowl, mix together Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, dried thyme, salt, and pepper.

  3. Rub the spice mixture evenly over both sides of each steak.

  4. Drizzle the vegetable oil over the hot grill or skillet.

  5. Cook the steaks for about 4-6 minutes per side, or until desired doneness is reached.

  6. Remove the steaks from the heat and let them rest for about 5 minutes before serving.

  7. Slice the steaks against the grain and serve hot.
