How To Make Old Country Buffet Chicken Fried Steak Recipe
Juicy cubed steak, breaded and fried to perfection with creamy milk gravy.

Ingredients
- 4 cubed steaks
- 1 cup flour
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 cup vegetable oil for frying
- For the milk gravy:
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup flour
- 2 cups whole milk
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

In a shallow dish, mix together the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.

In another shallow dish, whisk together the eggs and milk.

Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Dredge each cubed steak in the flour mixture, shaking off any excess.

Dip the steak in the egg mixture, then coat with the flour mixture again.

Fry the steaks in the hot oil until golden brown and cooked through, about 5 minutes per side.

Remove the steaks from the skillet and keep warm.

To make the milk gravy, melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat.

Whisk in the flour and cook for 1-2 minutes.

Slowly whisk in the milk and cook, whisking constantly, until the mixture thickens.
