How To Make Corn and Clam Chowder
Savory and creamy chowder packed with sweet corn and tender clams.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 5 slices bacon, chopped
- 1 large onion, diced
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 russet potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 2 cans of diced clams, drained
- 2 cans of sweet corn, drained
- 1 cup heavy cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions

In a large pot over medium heat, cook bacon until crisp. Remove with a slotted spoon and set aside.

In the same pot, add onion and garlic and cook until softened.

Add potatoes and chicken broth. Bring to a boil and simmer for 10-15 minutes or until potatoes are tender.

Stir in clams, corn, and heavy cream. Season with salt and pepper.

Bring to a simmer and cook for another 10 minutes.

Serve hot, garnished with parsley and bacon.
