How To Make Spicy Clam Chowder Recipe
A creamy and flavorful chowder loaded with clams and seasoned with spices.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 4 slices of bacon, diced
- 1/2 onion, diced
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp of all-purpose flour
- 3 cups of chicken broth
- 2 cans (10 oz each) of chopped clams, drained
- 1 cup of heavy cream
- 1 tsp of smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp of cayenne pepper
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions

In a large pot, cook bacon over medium heat until crispy.

Add onion and garlic and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

Sprinkle flour over bacon mixture and stir until all coated.

Pour in chicken broth and whisk until there are no lumps.

Add clams, heavy cream, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper.

Bring to a simmer and cook for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Divide among bowls and garnish with fresh parsley.
