How To Make Clam and Parsley Chowder

A creamy and flavorful soup filled with tender clams and fresh parsley in every bite.

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 4 slices of bacon, chopped
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 3 cans of chopped clams, drained
  • 4 cups of chicken broth
  • 1 cup of heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup of fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cook bacon until crispy.

  2. Add in chopped onions and garlic, and sauté until onions are translucent.

  3. Add in diced potatoes, drained clams, chicken broth, salt, and black pepper.

  4. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and let simmer for 20 minutes or until potatoes are tender.

  5. Stir in heavy cream and fresh parsley and let simmer for an additional 5 minutes.

  6. Serve hot and enjoy!
