How To Make Bloody Mary Mussels
Serves:
Ingredients
- 2 pounds of mussels, cleaned and debearded
- 1 cup of tomato juice
- 1/2 cup of vodka
- 1/4 cup of Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons of hot sauce
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon of horseradish
- 1 lemon, juiced
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions

In a large pot, combine the tomato juice, vodka, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, minced garlic, horseradish, and lemon juice. Season with salt and pepper.

Bring the sauce to a simmer over medium heat.

Add the cleaned mussels to the pot and cover with a lid. Cook for about 10 minutes, or until the mussels have opened.

Discard any mussels that have not opened.

Carefully transfer the mussels to a serving bowl, pouring the sauce over the top.

Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot!
