Serves:

Ingredients

  • 4 fish fillets (any white fish of your choice)
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 thumb-sized ginger, grated
  • 2 red chili peppers, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fish sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1/2 cup water
  • Salt, to taste
  • Fresh cilantro leaves, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season the fish fillets with salt and set aside.

  2. In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat.

  3. Add the minced garlic, grated ginger, and sliced chili peppers to the skillet. Sauté for 2 minutes until fragrant.

  4. Add the fish fillets to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, until golden brown.

  5. In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, fish sauce, sugar, lime juice, and water. Pour the sauce over the fish in the skillet.
