- 2 cups cooked sushi rice
- 4 sheets of nori seaweed
- 8 ounces smoked salmon
- 1 cucumber, sliced into thin strips
- 1 avocado, sliced
- Soy sauce, for serving
- Wasabi, for serving
- Pickled ginger, for serving
Instructions

Place a sheet of nori seaweed on a bamboo sushi mat.

Wet your hands with water and spread a thin layer of sushi rice on the nori, leaving a 1-inch border at the top.

Place sliced smoked salmon, cucumber strips, and avocado slices along the bottom edge of the nori.

Using the bamboo mat, roll the sushi tightly, pressing gently as you go.

Wet the top border of the nori with water to seal the roll.

Repeat the process with the remaining ingredients.

Use a sharp knife to slice each roll into 8 pieces.
