Ingredients

  • 4 whole trout, gutted and cleaned
  • 4 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh herbs (such as dill or parsley) for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill to medium-high heat.

  2. Rub the trout inside and out with olive oil and season with salt, pepper, and minced garlic.

  3. Stuff the cavity of each trout with lemon slices.

  4. Place the trout on the grill and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until the flesh is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.

  5. Remove the trout from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes.

  6. Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs.
