How To Make Stuffed Baked Trout

Ingredients

  • 4 trout fillets
  • 1 cup of breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup of chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 tablespoons of lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 tablespoons of butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish.

  2. In a bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, chopped parsley, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.

  3. Lay the trout fillets on a cutting board and evenly distribute the breadcrumb mixture onto each fillet.

  4. Roll up each fillet and secure with toothpicks.

  5. Place the stuffed trout fillets in the greased baking dish.

  6. Brush the melted butter over the top of each fillet.

  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the trout is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

  8. Remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
