  • 4 large potatoes, peeled and cut into chunks
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • 1 tablespoon of chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place the peeled and cut potatoes into the pressure cooker.

  2. Add the water, salt, and black pepper to the pressure cooker.

  3. Close the lid and set the pressure cooker to high pressure.

  4. Cook the potatoes for 10 minutes on high pressure.

  5. Release the pressure manually, then carefully open the lid.

  6. Drain any excess water from the potatoes.

  7. Add the butter to the potatoes and stir until melted.

  8. Sprinkle with fresh parsley, if desired.

  9. Serve hot as a side dish.
