  • 4 cups cooked sushi rice
  • 1 lb fresh salmon fillet, sliced into thin sashimi pieces
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 1 cucumber, thinly sliced
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish


  1. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, and sugar. Set aside.

  2. Divide the cooked sushi rice among 4 bowls.

  3. Arrange the salmon sashimi slices on top of the rice.

  4. Top with sliced avocado, cucumber, and green onions.

  5. Drizzle the prepared sauce over the bowl.

  6. Garnish with sesame seeds.

  7. Serve immediately and enjoy!
