How To Make Broiled Scallops

Ingredients
- 1 pound of scallops
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions

Preheat your broiler to high.

In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.

Pat the scallops dry with a paper towel and place them in a single layer on a baking sheet.

Brush the scallops with the olive oil mixture, making sure to coat each one evenly.

Place the baking sheet under the broiler for 5 minutes.

Carefully flip the scallops over and broil for an additional 3-4 minutes, or until they are opaque and cooked through.

Remove from the broiler and garnish with fresh parsley.
