How To Make Steak Po' Boys

  • 1 lb chuck steak
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 4 oz green chilies, diced
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tomato, diced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 submarine sandwich buns


  1. Slice steak in thin strips against the grain, then place strips on grill and sprinkle with salt and pepper. 

  2. Grill for a couple of minutes, then add tomatoes, and chilies.  Grill for another 2 minutes, then remove meat and veggies from grill. 

  3. Coat one side of the sandwich bread with mustard and the other with olive oil.  Place meat mixture inside and serve.
