How To Make Kermit’s Po’ Boy Sandwich Recipe
A classic New Orleans sandwich with crispy fried shrimp, lettuce, tomato, and a spicy mayo dressing.

Ingredients
- 1 lb. large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 cup cornmeal
- 1 cup flour
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper
- salt and pepper to taste
- 4 French bread rolls
- lettuce leaves
- sliced tomatoes
- mayonnaise
- hot sauce
Instructions

In a bowl, mix together cornmeal, flour, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper.

Coat shrimp in the flour mixture.

In a large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Fry shrimp in batches, until golden brown and crispy.

Cut French bread rolls in half. Spread mayonnaise on the bottom halves.

Top with lettuce leaves, sliced tomatoes, and fried shrimp.

Drizzle hot sauce over the top.
