  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 4 slices of cheddar cheese
  • 4 lettuce leaves
  • 4 tomato slices
  • 1/4 cup of mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon of Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste


  1. Preheat your grill to medium heat.

  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.

  3. Drizzle the olive oil over the chicken breasts and rub it in.

  4. Place the chicken breasts on the grill and cook for 6-7 minutes per side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F.

  5. While the chicken is cooking, toast the hamburger buns on the grill until golden brown.

  6. In a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise and Dijon mustard.

  7. Spread the mayonnaise mixture on the bottom half of each toasted bun.

  8. Place a lettuce leaf on top of the mayonnaise mixture.

  9. Once the chicken is cooked, place a chicken breast on each bun, followed by a slice of cheddar cheese and a tomato slice.

  10. Top the sandwich with the remaining half of the bun.

  11. Serve the grilled chicken sandwiches immediately.
