  • 4 chicken breasts, cooked and shredded
  • 4 pita breads
  • 1 cup hummus
  • 1/4 cup chopped tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup diced cucumbers
  • 1/4 cup chopped red onions
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste


  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. Warm the pita breads in the oven for about 5 minutes.

  3. In a bowl, combine the shredded chicken with salt, pepper, chopped tomatoes, diced cucumbers, chopped red onions, and fresh parsley.

  4. Cut open the warmed pita breads to form pockets.

  5. Fill each pita pocket with the chicken mixture.

  6. Drizzle the hummus over the chicken filling.
