Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup oats
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • Vegetable oil, for frying

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).

  2. Cut the chicken breasts into long, thin strips.

  3. In a shallow dish, combine the oats, panko breadcrumbs, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.

  4. Dip each chicken strip into the beaten eggs, then coat with the oat and breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere.

  5. Heat about 1/2 inch of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

  6. Fry the chicken dippers in batches for about 2-3 minutes per side, until golden and crispy.

  7. Transfer the fried chicken dippers to a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for an additional 10 minutes, until cooked through.

  8. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauces.
