How To Make Cheese & Pepper Pitta Pocket

Ingredients
- 4 whole wheat pitta breads
- 200g grated cheddar cheese
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 small red onion, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).

Slice open each pitta bread to create a pocket.

In a bowl, mix together the grated cheddar cheese, sliced bell peppers, and red onion.

Stuff each pitta pocket with the cheese and vegetable mixture.

Heat the olive oil in a pan over medium heat.

Place the stuffed pitta pockets in the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown and the cheese has melted.

Transfer the pitta pockets to a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for an additional 5 minutes to ensure the cheese is fully melted.

Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
