Savor seven layers of delicious flavors with this 7 layer salad made with lettuce, peas, bell peppers, and tomatoes, topped with cheese and crumbled bacon.

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 8cupsiceberg lettuce,or romaine
  • cupsfrozen peas,defrosted
  • 1bell pepper,red or yellow, diced
  • ½cupcherry tomatoes,halved
  • 3green onions,sliced

For Ranch Dressing:

  • cupmayonnaise
  • ¼cupsour cream
  • ½tspgarlic powder
  • ½tsponion powder
  • 1tbspfresh parsley
  • 1tbspfresh dill
  • 2tspsugar
  • salt & pepper,to taste

For Toppings:

  • 6slicesbacon,cooked and crumbled
  • 2cupscheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Place the lettuce in a 9×13-inch dish. Layer remaining vegetables.

  2. Combine dressing ingredients and spread over lettuce. Top with cheese and bacon.

  3. Cover and refrigerate overnight (or at least 4 hours) before serving.
