How To Make Rich Pasta for the Poor Kitchen

Ingredients
- 8 oz pasta
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup grated cheese (such as Parmesan or cheddar)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil, for garnish
Instructions

Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and minced garlic and sauté until translucent.

Add the diced tomatoes and cook for a few minutes until heated through.

Stir in the milk and grated cheese, and season with salt and pepper. Cook until the cheese is melted and the sauce is creamy.

Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat with the sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.

Serve the pasta garnished with fresh basil.
