An easy and flavorful pasta dish made with orzo, parmesan cheese, and fresh basil.

  • 1 pound orzo pasta
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste


  1. Cook the orzo pasta in salted boiling water according to package directions.

  2. While the pasta is cooking, grate the parmesan cheese and chop the fresh basil.

  3. Drain the cooked pasta and return it to the pot.

  4. Add the olive oil, grated parmesan cheese, and chopped basil to the pot and mix well.

  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  6. Serve hot.
