How To Make One-Pot Cajun Chicken and Sausage Alfredo Pasta Recipe

Ingredients
- 8 oz penne pasta
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into cubes
- 8 oz smoked sausage, sliced
- 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions

In a large pot or skillet, cook the penne pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

In the same pot or skillet, heat some olive oil over medium heat. Add the chicken cubes and smoked sausage slices, cooking until browned.

Add the Cajun seasoning and minced garlic, stirring well to coat the chicken and sausage.

Pour in the heavy cream and chicken broth, stirring until well combined. Bring to a simmer.

Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Add the diced tomatoes.

Season with salt and pepper to taste. Simmer for 5 minutes.

Add the cooked penne pasta to the pot/skillet, tossing to coat in the sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat through.

Serve the Cajun chicken and sausage Alfredo pasta hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
