Ingredients

  • 1 package of Johnsonville Italian sausage
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup marinara sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. In a large bowl, combine the Italian sausage, bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, milk, parsley, garlic, oregano, basil, thyme, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

  3. Shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.

  4. Place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through and browned.

  6. In a separate saucepan, heat the marinara sauce over medium heat.

  7. Once the meatballs are cooked, transfer them to the saucepan with the marinara sauce.

  8. Simmer for an additional 5 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.

  9. Serve the meatballs hot, either on their own or with spaghetti or crusty bread.
