  • 1 lb (450g) shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley, for garnish


  1. In a bowl, combine minced garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, paprika, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.

  2. Add the shrimp to the marinade and toss to coat evenly. Allow the shrimp to marinate for at least 10 minutes.

  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 15 minutes to avoid burning.

  4. Thread the marinated shrimp onto skewers.

  5. Grill the shrimp skewers for about 3-4 minutes per side, or until they turn pink and opaque.

  6. Remove the shrimp from the grill and garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
