This tilapia dish has a great texture and a fabulous flavor! To make fish sticks, cut fillets into smaller strips. This dish is great with mac n’ cheese. This is way better than frozen!

How To Make Crunchy Tilapia Fillets

Tilapia fillets dipped in sweet tartar sauce

  • 6 tilapia fillets
  • 1 pkg pork flavoring (can be found in baking section, flavor oven fry)
  • ¾ cup onions (crushed )
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup water

Tartar sauce

  • 5 sweet pickles (chopped )
  • ⅓ cup mayonnaise
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F..

  2. In a shallow dish, beat egg and water.

  3. In a separate shallow dish, mix together pork flavoring and crushed onions.

  4. Dip tilapia fillets in egg wash, then put in crumb mixture (be sure to smash lightly and coat well).
  5. Turn onto foil-lined baking pan.
  6. Bake for about 30 to 35 minutes.
