How To Make Crab Balls (Joe’s Copycat)
This Joe’s-style recipe combines crab & shrimp for deep-fried crab balls. They’re made with cream cheese, sour cream, and warm spices for a flavorful punch.

- 2tbspbutter
- 2ozcream cheese
- ¼cupsour cream
- 1tbspmayonnaise
- 1tspseason salt

- â…›tspchili powder
- ¼cuppepperjack cheese,shredded
- 4tsponions,minced
- 4tspgreen peppers,minced
- 3jalapenos,minced and seeded
- 6ozcrab,canned
- 4ozshrimp,minced salad shrimp
- 2eggs
- 1tbspmilk
- 1cupbreadcrumbs
- 1cupoil
Instructions

Mix the butter, cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise until blended.

Add seasoned salt, paprika, and chili powder.

Add cheese, onion, green pepper, and jalapenos.

Add crab and shrimp; mix.

Roll into ¼-inch balls; refrigerate for 30 minutes

Beat eggs and milk.

Dip the balls into egg mixture; dredge in fine bread crumbs.

Deep fry until golden in 1 cup hot oil.
