How To Make Baked Chicken alla Milanese

Classic Italian flavors have inspired this baked chicken recipe and its medley of parsley, lemon, & olive oil. This is a healthier take on an Italian dish.

  • 1clovegarlic
  • 1cupparsley leaves
  • ½cupbreadcrumbs,seasoned
  • ½zest of lemon
  • salt and pepper
  • 2chicken thighs,boned
  • 4tbspolive oil
  • 2lemon wedges


  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Chop the garlic together with the parsley and place in a small bowl.

  2. Add the breadcrumbs, lemon zest, salt, and pepper. Moisten this mixture with 2 tablespoons of oil.

  3. Lay the boned thighs in a heavy baking pan and coat the top of the chicken with the breadcrumb mixture.

  4. Drizzle the chicken with the remaining olive oil and bake for 25 minutes, or until browned.

  5. Serve with lemon wedges.
