How To Make Sage and Apple Stuffed Pork Chops

Juicy pork chops stuffed with a flavorful apple and sage mixture that’s perfect for a cozy dinner at home.

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless pork chops
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 apple, peeled, cored and diced
  • 1/4 cup fresh sage, chopped
  • 1/4 cup onion, chopped
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.

  2. Season pork chops with salt and pepper, and cut a pocket in each one.

  3. In a large bowl, mix breadcrumbs, apple, sage, onion, butter and salt to taste.

  4. Fill each pork chop pocket with the mixture and secure with a toothpick.

  5. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear pork chops on both sides.

  6. Transfer pork chops to a baking dish, and bake for about 25-30 minutes or until the internal temperature reads 145°F.

  7. Allow pork chops to rest for a few minutes before serving.
