Ingredients

  • 4 boneless pork chops
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh sage
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cups shredded red cabbage
  • 1 large red apple, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. In a shallow dish, combine the grated parmesan, chopped sage, flour, salt, and pepper.

  3. Dip each pork chop into the flour mixture, pressing to adhere. Set aside.

  4. Heat olive oil in a large ovenproof skillet over medium-high heat.

  5. Cook the pork chops for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.

  6. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and cook for an additional 10 minutes or until the pork chops are cooked through.

  7. In a large bowl, combine the shredded red cabbage and sliced red apple.

  8. In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, honey, salt, and pepper.

  9. Pour the dressing over the cabbage and apple mixture, and toss until well coated.

  10. Serve the crisp sage and parmesan pork chops with the red apple coleslaw.
